Adémaï aviateur (1933)
Directed by Jean Tarride

Adventure / Comedy
aka: Skylark

Film Synopsis

Whilst training to be an aviator in the French air force, Adémaï makes frequent visits to a nearby farm owned by Monsieur Morlot.  His main reason for doing so is to spend time with the beautiful cowgirl Marguerite, to whom he has taken a distinct fancy.  Unfortunately, Marguerite is more interested in Lucas, the man that Marie-Jeanne, the farmer's daughter, is hoping to marry.  When Marie-Jeanne falls seriously ill, the doctor advises her parents to find her a husband as quickly as possible.  Since Adémaï is the only man available, the Morlots contrive a union between him and their daughter.  Adémaï isn't keen on the idea, but what worries him more is the prospect of his impending flying lessons...
