Chorus (2015)
Directed by François Delisle

Drama

Film Synopsis

The lives of Christophe and Irène are brutally upended when their eight-year-old son Hugo mysteriously disappears at school one afternoon.  Days pass, then weeks, but the police investigations leads nowhere.  The strain on the couple's relationship becomes too much to bear and they are driven apart by grief.  Christopher moves to Mexico, where he survives by doing odd jobs.  Irène remains in Montréal and devotes herself to her career as a choral singer.  Ten years have elapsed before the police contact Irène with the news that they have found Hugo - or rather his dead body.  Unable to deal with this by herself, Irène is forced to get in touch with Christophe and ask him to come back to her.  Now that they are united in a grief that dare show itself, their former feelings for one another begin to reassert themselves...
