Sylvian is a young man who has dedicated his life to a local cinema that is now threatened with closure.  He lives in the cinema's basement and is both projectionist and ticket seller, as well as the one who decides which films to screen.  Every night, he leaves his comfortable little world to perform a murderous ritual...
