Film Synopsis

In a slum district of Buenos Aires, Julian and Nicolas, two priests and old friends, are doing their best to help the population.  Julian uses his political connections to supervise the building of a hospital.  Nicolas joins him after the failure of a project which took him into the jungle, where the inhabitants were killed by paramilitary forces.  Deeply shocked, he finds solace in the company of Luciana, a young social worker and atheist.  As Nicholas' faith begins to falter, the tensions between the factions in the slum increase.  Things come to a head when the minister orders work on the hospital to stop...
