Film Synopsis

Nine year-old Yves-Marie is in love with his classmate Jacqueline.  When he asks her to marry him she replies that she will on the day that he goes up to the stars.  Twenty-four years later, Jacqueline is about to get married to Vincent when Yves-Marie turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep.  He is now an astronaut and expects his former love to keep her promise.  As Jacqueline tries to explain that she cannot marry him, Yves-Marie makes her a strange proposal: try him for one day before making up her mind...
