Follenfant, the father of a large family, must undertake his military
service, somewhat later than usual. As luck would have it, he
closely resembles his commanding officer, who is cripplingly shy.
Thanks to their physical resemblance, and also to Follenfant's skill as
a ventriloquist, the two men arrive at a mutually advantageous
arrangement...
