Directed by Raymond Bernard, Eusebio Fernández Ardavín

Comedy / Musical

Film Synopsis

Accompanied by a film crew, the star Carlos Médina arrives in a small village in southern Spain to make a film.  The director hires several gypsies from the area to appear in the film as extras and engages an Andalusian beauty, Maria-Luisa, to play the female lead.   In one scene in the film, Carlos and Maria-Luisa's characters are married.  Unfortunately, the fake wedding is officiated by the gypsies' king and is therefore both real and irrevocable.  Carlos is now officially married to Maria-Luisa, even though both he and she are already engaged...
