La Máscara de Scaramouche (1963)
Directed by Antonio Isasi-Isasmendi

Adventure
aka: The Adventures of Scaramouche

Film Synopsis

Better known by his stage name Scaramouche, Robert Lafleur is one of the sensations of his age.  Not only is he a formidable actor, one with a natural gift for making crowds swoon in response to his unwavering charm, he is also an inveterate womaniser, the kind that cannot resist chasing after any attractive young noblewoman than comes within his sights.  Naturally for a man of his seductive accomplishments, Scaramouche has his fair share of enemies, but no one hates him with greater passion than the Marquis de la Tour, who can never forgive him for forcing himself on his mistress, the stunningly beautiful Madame de Popignan.  Scaramouche has greater matters to concern him when the Marquis de Souchil returns from Louisiana with his goddaughter and announces to the world that he is the illegitimate son of the Duke de Froissard...
