Film Synopsis

Nohant, in the summer of 1846.  The famous writer George Sand is preparing a lavish party with her children, Maurice and Solange.  The guests include the painter Eugène Delacroix and some friends of the composer Chopin, with whom George once shared a turbulent love affair.  Solange has grown weary of her pallid fiancé Fernand and, to spite her mother, she begins flirting with Chopin...
