Film Synopsis
Jean Larcher is sent to the island of São Tomé by a group of financiers to purchase a plantation. To bring down the price of the plantation, Jean's employers have resorted to poisoning the trees. When he discovers this, Jean abandons his mission and instead marries a young plantation owner.© James Travers
