Film Synopsis
Pozdnycheff, a dissolute young man living in Saint Petersburg, brings nothing but trouble to the household of a friend who has committed suicide. Since his friend's death he has become morbidly obsessed by this tragic event. When he is married, his obsession drives him to try to kill his wife. He is condemned but his wife, who has always loved him, faithfully awaits his return.© James Travers
