Louis Schneider is a Marseilles cop who gets results, even though he is

unpopular with his superiors. Justine is an ordinary woman who is
also scarred by her past, having witnessed the murder of her parents 25
years ago by a thug named Charles Subra. The release of
Subra from prison serves to bring Louis and Justine together, and at
last they are able to confront their past...
