Film Synopsis

The guesthouse run by the Mesureux family in Paris provides a refuge for White Russians who are trying to start a new life far from their troubled country.  Vassia is in love with Hélène, but she prefers Prince Fédor.   The latter sustains a serious injury whilst hunting but cannot afford medical treatment.  Hélène finds herself a job so that she can pay Fédor's hospital bills.  Vassia sets aside his jealousy by lending her his support.
