Où avais-je la tête? (2007) Directed by Nathalie Donnini
Comedy / Romance
Film Synopsis
For years, Paul-Vincent has refused to have any kind of relationship
with a woman. The prospect of a romantic adventure fills
him dread, since he knows it will end in heartache and
acrimony. So he finds another mistress, his work, to which
he dedicates all his time and his energy. And it has paid
off. Today he is a very successful businessman. Then
Paul-Vincent meets Agnès. The former is not entirely
immune to the latter's charms, but he is not about to let a momentary
lapse ruin the fruits of a lifetime of self-restraint.
Agnès, however, isn't so easily dissuaded. On the
contrary, she takes a strange fascination in Paul-Vincent...

The very best American film comedies
American film comedy had its heyday in the 1920s and '30s, but it remains an important genre and has given American cinema some of its enduring classics.
In his letters to his friends and family, Franz Kafka gives us a rich self-portrait that is surprisingly upbeat, nor the angst-ridden soul we might expect.
Franz Kafka's letters to his fiancée Felice Bauer not only reveal a soul in torment; they also give us a harrowing self-portrait of a man appalled by his own existence.
