Film Synopsis
On hearing that her 88-year-old aunt Martha is about to be forced into a
retirement home against her will, Fiona, a Canadian librarian, heads for
Paris without a moment's delay. Alone and confused in a foreign land,
Fiona strikes up an acquaintance with Dom, a homeless man who lives by the
river in a tent. Something attracts Dom to Fiona, and he cannot help

The greatest French Films of all time

In the 1910s, French cinema led the way with a new industry which actively encouraged innovation. From the serials of Louis Feuillade to the first auteur pieces of Abel Gance, this decade is rich in cinematic marvels.
It was American film noir and pulp fiction that kick-started the craze for thrillers in 1950s France and made it one of the most popular and enduring genres.
