Film Synopsis
To make himself popular, the vampire Lestat takes up rock music and becomes the singer with an underground group. His allure and vampiric ways make him a success. Night after night, groupies flock to his sumptuous residence, providing him with an abundant supply of the blood he needs to survive. In the course of his rise to stardom, Lestat meets Jesse Reeves, an English student who is the niece of the vampire Maharet. Fragile and confused, the young woman offers herself to Lestat so that she may become like him. For the first time, Lestat refuses to take advantage of an innocent admirer. By breaking with the vampiric tradition, Lestat incurs the wrath of Marius, his former master...© James Travers
