R.T.T. (2009)
Directed by Frédéric Berthe

Comedy / Adventure

Film Synopsis

Arthur Lepage, the owner of a sports accessories shop, is completely taken aback when his partner of five years, Florence, suddenly announces her decision to leave him so that she can marry another man.  Arthur is even more surprised when he learns that the marriage is due to take place in Miami in just a few days' time.  How can this be possible?  How can his idyllic life with Florence end so abruptly, without even the slightest indication of an imminent separation?  And, even more bafflingly, why has he not been invited to the wedding?  This is one thing Arthur isn't going to take lying down - he will be present at the wedding if it's the last thing he does!

Arthur is at the airport, waiting for his plane to Miami, when an excited young woman suddenly accosts him.  This is a Emilie Vergano, who, unbeknown to Arthur, is on the run from the police after stealing a valuable painting from a Parisian museum.  Without Arthur knowing, Emilie hides the stolen work of art in his luggage, thereby planting the seed of an adventure that is way beyond Arthur's imagination.  So much for R.T.T. (réduction du temps de travail).  For one unsuspecting French man, an increase in his working week would be infinitely preferable to the horrors that lie ahead of him...
