Film Synopsis

The Princess of Saxony takes up residence in the Italian town of Florence, where she falls madly in love with the composer Enrico Toselli.  They marry and enjoy a happy marriage, but Toselli's inspiration begins to suffer as a result of his newfound marital bliss.  The Princess decides to put her husband's interests before her own, hoping that by separating from him his inspiration will return.  It is a sacrifice that will break her heart...
