Film Synopsis

Michel and his mother live alone in the suburbs of Paris in 1919.  They are derided by their neighbours because Michel's father was shot 'as an example' during the 1917 mutinies of the First World War.  One evening, their neighbours' hostility gets out of hand and Michel's mother is admitted to an asylum.  Michel manages to get away as an epidemic of Spanish flu breaks out.  He sets out to find the general who executed his father...
