Film Synopsis

Baron Giuramondo is destined for a place at court and a lavish marriage.  But on the eve of his wedding, he discovers that his fiancée was the king's mistress.  Out of spite, he chooses to give up all his worldly possessions and become a monk.  His pride and yearning for the absolute drive him to become a hermit.  He has just found the serenity he seeks when he is tempted by the pleasures of the flesh, in the form of two attractive young women...
