Film Synopsis
Nice is a haven for thieves and a nightmare for insurance
companies. Lepski, a former cop from Florida, now earns his crust
as an insurance investigator. His company is charged with
insuring an exhibition of Russian art, whose prize exhibit is a
valuable wooden statute from the 14th century. Bradley is
determined to steal this precious object and organises a daring
hold-up. On the day the exhibition is opened, the statue is
stolen, replaced with a copy that doesn't fool Lepski. The
private investigator wastes no time trying to recover the stolen
object.
