Inseparable since childhood, Lil and Roz both enjoy a harmonious existence with their children, two young boys who appear to be an extension of themselves.  With their husbands away, their mutual bond has strengthened, and each woman becomes increasingly drawn to the other's son.  Away from the scrutiny of others, in a seaside paradise, the foursome share an unconventional but contented life together, until the time comes when age threatens to shatter their union...
