Un lever de rideau (2006)
Directed by François Ozon

Short
aka: A Curtain Raiser

Film Synopsis

Bruno and Rosette have been seeing one another for eight months.  In that time, Bruno has been kept waiting by his girlfriend exactly 36 hours, enough time for him to write six full-length poems.  Now Bruno's patience is exhausted.  As he languishes in his apartment, waiting for Rosette to put in another tardy appearance, with only his friend Pierre to keep him company, Bruno makes a brave decision.  If the so-called love of his life arrives more than 45 minutes late, he will end the relationship.  There is only so much indifference a man can take.
