A murderer and his female accomplice are on the run. As he
prepares to flee Germany by bus, she persuades the owner of a barge to
help them escape by river. The killer is willing to take any risk
to avoid being captured, so he forces the barge captain to steer his
craft into a perilous stretch of the river...
