Agnieszka Holland is a Polish film director and screenwriter. She was born in Warsaw, Poland on 28th November 1948.

Her best films as a screenwriter include Europa Europa (1990), Olivier, Olivier (1992) and Krzysztof Kieslowski's Trois couleurs: Bleu (1993), and whose best work as a film director include Europa Europa (1990), Olivier, Olivier (1992) and The Secret Garden (1993).

Agnieszka Holland has so far scripted 15 films and directed 14 films.
