Boris Karloff was an English actor whose birth name was William Henry Pratt. He was born in Honor Oak, London, England on 23rd November 1887 and died in Midhurst, Sussex, England on 2nd February 1969, aged 81.

His best films as an actor include James Whale's Frankenstein (1931), Bride of Frankenstein (1935), Robert Wise's thriller The Body Snatcher (1945), Mark Robson's Bedlam (1946) and Mario Bava's I tre volti della paura (1963).
