Cary Grant was an English actor whose birth name was Archibald Alexander Leach. He was born in Bristol, England on 18th January 1904 and died in Davenport, Iowa, USA on 29th November 1986, aged 82.

His best films as an actor include Leo McCarey's comedy The Awful Truth (1937), Howard Hawks's Only Angels Have Wings (1939), His Girl Friday (1940), George Cukor's The Philadelphia Story (1940) and Alfred Hitchcock's thriller North by Northwest (1959).
