Charles Trenet was a French actor and singer. He was born in Narbonne, France on 18th May 1913 and died in Créteil, France on 19th February 2001, aged 87.

His best films as an actor include Jean Boyer's musical comedy Romance de Paris (1941) and Pierre Prévert's Adieu Léonard (1943), and whose best work as a musician include Christian Stengel's Je chante (1938).
