Jacques Nolot is a French actor, film director and screenwriter. He was born in Marciac, Gers, France on 31st August 1943.

His best films as an actor include André Téchiné's La matiouette ou l'arrière-pays (1983), Paul Vecchiali's Le café des Jules (1989), Claire Denis's Nénette et Boni (1996), François Ozon's Sous le sable (2000) and Benoît Graffin's Café de la plage (2001), and whose best work as a film director include L'Arrière pays (1998) and Avant que j'oublie (2007).
