Biography: life and films

Marie Dubois (real name: Claudine Lucie Pauline Huz) is a French film actress. She was born in Paris, France on 12 January 1937. Throughout the 1960s and 70s, she was one of the most popular actresses in French cinema, appearing both in mainstream hits such as Monte Carlo or Bust (1969) and serious auteur pieces, including Truffaut's Tirez sur le pianiste (1960) and Claude Sautet's Vincent, François, Paul et les autres (1974). At the end of the 1970s, Dubois was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and has since devoted herself to the fight against the disease.
