Biography: life and films

Orane Demazis (real name: Henriette Marie Louise Burgart) was a French film actress. She was born in Oran, Algeria on 4 September 1894 and died in Boulogne-Billancourt, France on 25 December 1991. Marcel Pagnol's partner for a time, she starred in several of his films, her most famous role being Fanny in the Marseille Trilogy.
