Comedy
Film Synopsis
Benoît Brisefer is a good-natured ten year old who, despite his
ordinary appearance, is endowed with special powers. His only
weakness is that he loses his powers whenever he catches a cold.
Benoît has the opportunity to put his gift to good use when his
town is threatened by a gang led by the charismatic Poilonez. The
latter intends to plunder the town whilst running what would seem to be
a respectable taxi company. Benoît's day of glory has
arrived...

The best of American film noir
In the 1940s, the shadowy, skewed visual style of 1920s German expressionism was taken up by directors of American thrillers and psychological dramas, creating that distinctive film noir look.
Franz Kafka's letters to his fiancée Felice Bauer not only reveal a soul in torment; they also give us a harrowing self-portrait of a man appalled by his own existence.
