Des nouvelles du bon Dieu (1996)
Directed by Didier Le Pêcheur

Comedy
aka: News from the Good Lord

Film Synopsis

Once he has completed his latest novel, the writer Alessandro Battavia commits suicide, in order that he can be true to his art.  Nord and Evangile want to discover whether or not they are characters in a book.  To that end, and not liking their own personal story, they decide to meet the all-powerful writer. What if we do not really exist?  What if we are merely characters in a book written by God...?
