Film Synopsis

Madame Marcenay receives several wrong telephone calls for someone named Mauricette.  She is too busy dolling herself up for an evening party to take any notice of her two daughters.  Agnès, the youngest, returns from school in a bad mood after a quarrel with her boyfriend and being punished by her principal.  Barred from attending the ball, Agnès must spend the evening at home.  The anonymous caller rings again, with a message for Mauricette that Philippe needs her at the Reseda Hotel.  Believing this to be some kind of a joke but curious to find out more, Agnès makes up her mind to keep the appointment.  Borrowing one of her sister's evening gowns, she takes a taxi to the hotel, excited and a little frightened over what awaits her.  Her job, she discovers, is to seduce someone named Franck Raphael and find out where he hid 200 million francs before he went to prison.  The mission takes an unexpected turn when Agnès meets her intended victim...
