When she loses her job, Sara allows her friend Isa to take her to
Portugal for a weekend holiday. After the failure of his latest
film, director Paul reluctantly goes off to Lisbon to attend a film
festival. His wife Hélène seems to resent becoming
a grandmother, especially when she has to baby sit for her
grandson. Yves, a solitary pharmacist, finds a new friend in a
stray dog, which follows him everywhere he goes. Nina, a
musician, decides to make an impromptu call on her seven-year-old son,
whom she has not seen for several months. Vince, a police
inspector, visits his wife in hospital everyday, but his guitar playing
fails to revive her from her coma. Six people,
six fragile individuals, whose lives are
about to become inextricably intertwined...
