Rocky leads a humdrum, uneventful life in Montreal. He is the kind
of man no one ever notices. One evening, he returns home and finds
an eagle-owl perched on his sofa. Alarmed by the presence of this intimidating
creature in his home, he calls in on a pet shop for advice. Naturally,
he is mistaken for an idiot. In an attempt to communicate with the
bird, which is strangely reluctant to leave him be, Rocky dresses up in an
owl costume. To his surprise, no one seems to pay him any attention
wherever he goes in this costume. Then, one day, he meets a young woman
who is dressed up as a panda. It is love at first sight. At last,
Rocky has found someone he can communicate with...

The history of French cinema
From its birth in 1895, cinema has been an essential part of French culture. Now it is one of the most dynamic, versatile and important of the arts in France.
With so many great films to choose from, it's nigh on impossible to compile a short-list of the best 15 French films of all time - but here's our feeble attempt to do just that.
