In the Wild West, few are wilder than Bill Hammond, one of the most notorious
bandits in his town. He made a terrible mistake when he turned against
his own clan, and now he is pursued by the merciless Bishop brothers.
Bill's wife Jane is horrified when her husband returns to his house with
bullets in his back. Now it is time for her to swap her dress for trousers
and get out her own gun if she is to defend her family from the marauding
Bishops and their sort. Luckily, she can count on the support of Dan
Frost, a former lover whom she had thought died in the war. Dan is
willing to risk anything for Jane, and even though he hates Bill Hammond
with every fibre of his being, he comes to his aid for the sake of the woman
he loves...

The best of Japanese cinema
The cinema of Japan is noteworthy for its purity, subtlety and visual impact. The films of Ozu, Mizoguchi and Kurosawa are sublime masterpieces of film poetry.
American film comedy had its heyday in the 1920s and '30s, but it remains an important genre and has given American cinema some of its enduring classics.
