Film Synopsis

Neige, a young woman in her twenties, lives with her grandmother on the latter's small farm, which is buried deep in the heart of the countryside.  Neige's pride and joy is her four-year-old son Louis, but she is haunted by recurring nightmares in which she fails to prevent Death from stealing her child from her.  One day, Neige is invited to the wedding of the son of her wealthy neighbours, the Bénarieux, and is surprised to find her grandmother in a state of great anxiety...
