A shipowner claims to have discovered radium deposits on an island in the Antarctic Ocean.  The crew of a ship sent to verify this comes across a white woman living there with her half-mad husband and their child.  The woman sings Breton songs and enchants the crew who, having fallen in love with her, begin to fight among themselves...
