Film Synopsis

Keen to find a sponsor for his latest invention, Lucien Pivoine invites Monsieur Bouchemiel, a banker, to dinner.  Before the guest arrives, the Pivoines' housemaid gives notice, and Lucien has no option but to ask his wife to take her place.  Whilst Lucien is busy wreaking havoc in the kitchen, his wife is seduced by his guest, who mistakes her for a servant...
