Film Synopsis

Pierre Montaud is a lawyer in Dijon.  A hitherto faithful husband, he unexpectedly starts a relationship with a student, Nathalie Neuville.  When Pierre refuses to divorce his current wife so that she can marry him, Nathalie leaves him and goes back to her former boyfriend, Olivier Lacat.  Two days later, Lacat is found dead, killed with Pierre's gun...
