Film Synopsis

Désirée, alias La Squale, basks in the reputation of the father she never knew - Souleymane, an infamous mobster.  Whenever her path crosses that of the gang boss Toussaint she never ceases to attract his gaze.  Even though he is obsessed with Yasmine, a shy girl closeted at home by her brothers, Désirée succeeds in making a conquest of him.  It turns out to be a hollow victory, as Toussaint, an unrepentant rapist, abandons and betrays her.  Devastated, Désirée is about to discover the truth of her origins...
