Directed by Béatrice Pollet

Drama

Film Synopsis

Three archaeologists find themselves receiving emergency treatment when they are taken to hospital after an accident on their latest survey which very nearly cost them their lives.  Two of the three - Peter and Sarah - have sustained only minor injuries, but the third, Anna, is in a critical state.  As he waits and hopes for Anna to awaken from her coma, Peter reflects on the curious series of events that led them to this unexpected outcome.  It began when they discovered a vast underground site that appeared to be rich in historical secrets.

When she first sees the site, Anna is convinced that she has stumbled across an ancient burial ground of considerable importance, but her superior is not convinced and calls in Peter Morel, a renowned expert in the field of archaeology, to make his own assessment.  Peter and Anna are making a meticulous examination of the site when they become aware of a strong mutual attraction.  But before anything develops the site comes crashing down around them. As Peter waits for Anna to regain consciousness he wonders if he can go on living without her...
