Film Synopsis
Emma, 16, has a mother who is truly abhorrent, but she imagines her to
be the romantic heroine in a 19th century love story. She is in

Charming who whisks her off to Tangier on his scooter. Nurturing
such wild fantasies as these, Emma soon grows up, so that she can live
at last.
A wave of fresh talent in the late 1950s, early 1960s brought about a dramatic renaissance in French cinema, placing the auteur at the core of France's 7th art.
Since the 1920s, Hollywood has dominated the film industry, but that doesn't mean American cinema is all bad - America has produced so many great films that you could never watch them all in one lifetime.
Science-fiction came into its own in B-movies of the 1950s, but it remains a respected and popular genre, bursting into the mainstream in the late 1970s.
