Film Synopsis
Fanny is unlike other people. Eccentric, unpredictable, spontaneous, she has difficulty making relationships and ends up having to live with her brother, Gabriel, and his wife, Cécile. The latter resents Fanny's presence and turns on her at the least provocation. When things becomes unbearable, Fanny leaves her brother and heads for Germany, hoping to find her father's grave. On the way, she meets a woodcutter who lives alone in the forest. They are attracted towards one another... Has Fanny finally met someone who can understand her, even though neither speaks the other's language?© James Travers
