Mon père en grand (2016)
Directed by Mathias Renou

Comedy / Drama

Film Synopsis

Mathieu has always had ambitions of becoming a filmmaker, ever since his father thrust a camera into hands at an early age.  Now he is twenty, Mathieu feels the time has come to go out and realise his dream, and, as luck would have it, he has the ideal subject: the break up of his parents' marriage!  For most people, the impending separation of one's mother and father is a traumatic experience.  For Mathieu it is just the inspiration that he needs to begin his new career.  Naturally, he will offer the lead role to his father, a second rate actor who has always hankered after a major part in a film.  Now both men can live out their fantasies, one playing at being the henpecked husband in his own film autobiography, the other the debutant cineaste with a dazzling future ahead of him...
