In the middle of the 18th century, at the time when France is gradually
letting go of Canada, an adventurer named François falls madly
in love with the beautiful Marie-Loup. In the midst of plots and
betrayals, these two try to survive and love each other with a pure
passion. Confronted with the cowardice of men, only the strength
of their feelings for one another will allow them to triumph.
