Pas son genre (2014)
Directed by Lucas Belvaux

Romance / Comedy
aka: Not My Type

Film Synopsis

Clément, a young Parisian philosophy teacher, is far from happy with his posting to Arras.  He misses the bright lights of the capital and doesn't know what to do with his spare hours.  Then he meets Jennifer, an attractive hairdresser who soon becomes his lover.  Whereas Clément's literary diet is monopolised by the works of such intellectual giants as Kant and Proust, Jennifer has yet to progress beyond popular trashy novels and celebrity mags.  They may share a physical and emotional attraction but is this enough to overcome the cultural and social barriers that separate them...?
