Film Synopsis
Ben's dreams of becoming a professional basketball player are shattered when
he suffers a severe brain injury that leaves him paralysed. Not only
can he no longer participate in his favourite sport, even the simplest of
tasks are now beyond him without the help of a carer. To regain his
independence he is admitted to a rehabilitation centre where he strikes up
a friendship with other people in his predicament - Farid, Steeve, Toussaint,
Eddy and Lamine. With the encouragement of his new buddies and the
support of an attentive doctor, François, Ben finds the inner resolve
to overcome his disability and begin walking again. As he does so,
he meets a woman named Samia and discovers love where he had least expected
to find it...
