Quand je serai star (2004) Directed by Patrick Mimouni
Comedy
aka: When I'm a Star
Film Synopsis
Marc, 23, resents the fact that he was born to a celebrity
couple. His mother is Diane de Montalte, a well-known Parisian
actress; his father was Farid Daoudi, a singer who died in the
1980s. Sick of his mother's mad ambitions and the empty world she
inhabits, Marc opts to become a steward. His rebellion is as
comical as it is cruel, but it is his way of breaking free of his
mother's influence and making the transition to adulthood.
